Teams have three member roles with different permissions.
Roles

Each team can have only one Captain. Promoting someone to Captain automatically demotes you to Co-Captain.

Managing Roles
- Go to your team’s Members tab
- Find the member
- Click the role dropdown
- Select the new role
When you promote someone to Captain, you become a Co-Captain. This cannot be undone except by the new Captain.
Captain Succession
If the Captain leaves the team:
- The longest-serving Co-Captain becomes Captain
- If no Co-Captains exist, the longest-serving Member becomes Captain
Join Requests
Users can request to join your team:
- User visits your team profile
- User clicks “Request to Join”
- Captain or Co-Captain reviews the request
- Approve or deny
Join requests remain pending until reviewed—they don’t auto-expire.
Inviting Members
Invite organization members to your team:
- Go to Members tab
- Click Invite
- Search for organization members
- Or create a shareable invite link
