What Leagues Offer

How Leagues Work
- A user applies to create a league through TeamBattles
- Once approved, the league owner configures games, rules, and point settings
- Teams apply to join the league and are reviewed by league staff
- A season is created and activated to begin tracking stats
- Teams compete in matches - points are awarded and standings update in real time
- When a season ends, standings are finalized and a new season can begin
League Roles
| Role | Description |
|---|---|
| Owner | Full control over the league. Can transfer ownership and shut down the league. |
| Admin | Manages teams, staff, seasons, rules, and settings. Cannot transfer ownership. |
| Manager | Approves or denies team applications. Issues penalties and manages rosters. |
| Member | Basic staff access. Can view admin dashboard and activity logs. |
League roles are for league staff - not for teams competing in the league. Teams join through the application process.
