This guide walks you through signing up, setting up your profile, and creating your first match.
Sign Up
Sign up using one of these providers:
- Discord
- Twitch
- GitHub
- Battle.net
Click your preferred provider and authorize TeamBattles to access your account.
Set Up Your Profile
After your first login, you’ll set up your profile:
Required:
- Display name (1-50 characters)
- Username (3-30 characters, letters, numbers, and underscores)
Optional:
- Bio, pronouns, birthday, country, timezone, languages
- Profile photo and banner image
You can skip setup and complete it later from Settings.
Go to Settings
Click your avatar and select Settings
Open Connections
Navigate to the Connections tab
Link Platforms
Click “Connect” next to each platform you use
Activision connection is required for Call of Duty matches. All team members must have this linked.
Create or Join an Organization
Organizations are groups that manage teams. You need to be in an organization before creating a team.
Option A: Create an organization
- Click “Create Organization” from your dashboard
- Enter a name (3-50 characters) and tag (2-6 characters)
- Set visibility to public or private
Option B: Join an existing organization
- Go to Discovery to browse public organizations
- Click “Request to Join” on an organization
- Wait for an admin to approve your request
Create a Team
Once you’re in an organization:
Go to your organization
Click on your organization from the dashboard
Create a team
Click “Create Team” (requires Admin or Owner role)
Configure the team
Set the name, tag, game, game mode, platform, and region
Create Your First Match
With a team ready:
Go to Matches
Click “Create Match” from your dashboard or team page
Select your team
Choose which team is playing
Configure the match
Set game mode, series length, map selection type, and scheduling
Select your roster
Choose active players and optionally set bench players
Publish
Click “Publish” to make the match visible to other teams
