Strategy save limits use dual-axis gating. On the default (Free) tier,
strategiesPerMap is unlimited and strategiesTotal caps you at 3 saved strategies across all maps. On any paid tier, strategiesTotal is unlimited and strategiesPerMap caps how many strategies you can save per map (3 on Basic, 5 on Standard, 10 on Premium). Resetting an organization’s stats also resets all of its teams. The cooldown is anchored on the organization, not on the individual teams.
How Subscriptions Work
- User-level: Each subscription belongs to an individual user.
- Org assignment: You assign your subscription to one organization to unlock org-level benefits.
- Effective tier: An organization’s tier is the highest among all subscriptions assigned to it; a team inherits its parent org’s tier.
- Soft limits: If you downgrade, existing items above the new limit are preserved but you cannot add more.
- Subscription badge: Your tier is displayed on your public profile (can be hidden in billing settings).
- Referral trials: Referring active players grants Premium trial days (see Referrals).
The Subscription Sheet
Every subscription moment - a locked feature, an action on cooldown, a plan change, or a limit reached - opens one universal sheet. The sheet explains why the action is unavailable (for example, “available again in 9 days, or upgrade for weekly”), shows the tier you need, and routes you to Polar hosted checkout to subscribe or change plans. On desktop the sheet slides in from the right; on mobile it slides up from the bottom.A la Carte Purchases
A small set of one-time, real-money items can be purchased directly (fulfilled through Polar). Today the only such item is Gift D&B Removal, which clears another user’s Donut and Breadstick counts. You cannot gift it to yourself.Developer & API Plans
Developer plans are a separate billing axis from the consumer tiers above. They raise public API rate limits and unlock webhooks and the league-operator API.
