Season States
A season progresses through three states:| State | Description |
|---|---|
| UPCOMING | The season has been created but is not yet active. No stats are tracked. |
| ACTIVE | The season is live. Match results award points and update standings. |
| COMPLETED | The season has ended. Standings are finalized and no new points are awarded. |
Only one season per game can be active at a time. You must complete the current season before activating a new one.

Preseason Stats
Matches played when no season is active are tracked as preseason stats. Preseason stats:- Still award and deduct points using the league’s points configuration

- Are tracked separately from named seasons - they do not carry over
Preseason is useful for letting teams warm up or test the league’s rule settings before an official season begins.
